You ask Pinehurst why an artist’s creative vision could not include interactivity. Surely, you reason, a capable video game developer, knowing that the game that he or she produced would one day be played by others, would design the game in such a way that the interactivity inherent to the medium added to the overall aesthetic experience, as opposed to subtracting from it.
